PIZZA CRUST 
1 envelope active dry yeast
1 c. warm water
3 1/2 to 3 3/4 c. plain flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten

Sprinkle yeast over warm water; stir until dissolved. Stir in 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar and salt. Add egg and 1 tablespoon oil; stir until smooth and glossy. Stir in 2 cups flour. Knead dough 10 minutes. Put in a greased bowl. Let rise 1 hour. Punch down and divide in half.

Makes 2 pizza crusts. Brush lightly with oil.
