2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water or cold black coffee

Sift flour. Blend dry ingredients together. Add other ingredients one at a time, stirring after each addition.
