SPANISH RICE 
1 lb. ground beef
3 sliced bacon, chopped
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
2 c. water
1 c. long grain rice
1/3 c. ketchup
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In a 3 quart pot cook ground meat, bacon, onion and bell pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, water, uncooked rice, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Makes about 6 servings. Can double recipe or use Ro-tel tomatoes.
