COUNTRY STYLE RICE | |
1 c. rice 1 tbsp. butter 2 1/2 c. water 1 c. sour cream 1/3 c. mayonnaise 1/3 c. sliced green onion 1/2 tsp. basil or parsley 1/4 tsp. salt Dash of salt 8 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled Add rice and butter to boiling water; cover and simmer 20 minutes. Combine rest of ingredients and half of the bacon; mix well. Spoon into 1 quart casserole dish, sprinkle remaining bacon on top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until thoroughly heated. 4-6 servings. |
