1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
5 hard cooked eggs, egg yolks mashed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. milk
Nuts, finely chopped
Cinnamon sugar
Poppy seeds

Cream butter and sugar. Add mashed eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixed with salt. Chill dough until firm enough to roll. Roll out dough 1/4" thick. Cut with cookie cutters, place on a cookie sheet. Brush with egg mixed with milk. Sprinkle with nuts, cinnamon sugar or poppy seed. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes or until golden. 48 cookies.
