QUICK MIX WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKES
2 cups whole-wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Stir together dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, and oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened (batter may be lumpy). Cook on preheated griddle until bubbles form and edges start to dry. Flip and cook until lightly browned. I like to serve with sliced strawberries and bananas, drizzled with honey.

These were really nice, especially because they didn't have sugar in the recipe. I added a tiny bit of almond extract and topped it with raspberries. Very nice combo.

An excellent and healthful recipe that makes delicious pancakes. They weren't quite sweet enough for me so I added 2/3 cup of applesauce and loved the result. A teaspoon of cinnamon also added a little extra flavor and of course went great with the apple flavor.

This recipe is amazing. Its very easy to make half, and it comes out Light and fluffy. I added cinnamon to the mix and some vanilla, then once in the pan I added brown sugar and cinnamon before I flipped them and it made an amazing crunch crust on one side! Next time I will try the same thing with some pecans ;).

Easy recipe! I made the whole recipe and had enough pancakes for 3 people, and a few leftover to freeze. I added 1 tsp of vanilla and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. I also added pears and dried cranberries. To make it healthier, I substituted the oil with 2 tbsp of applesauce. Will definitely make again.

I used almond milk to reduce the sugar. Turned out great and really no sugar now!

My husband likes these made with the eggs separated. The yolks mixed with milk etc. The room temperature whites beaten and folded into the batter just before cooking. This method makes the cakes much lighter.. yumm!

I used the recipe exactly as-is, and bought King Arthur Whole Grain White Flour. Wonderful! I love them slathered with peanut butter and warm real maple syrup.

Delicious recipe but should cut salt to half tspn! That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I tried using some suggestions from others, like applesauce instead of oil. I also added 2 tsps of ground flax seed, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and added blueberries and banana slices while they were on the pan. Served them with pure maple honey. Healthy and tasty!

Great!! I added almonds to the mix, a little bit of sugar to sweeten them, and then olive oil! They came out great and crunchy! I topped them off with sliced bananas and honey... Best "dinner for breakfast" ever!
