PEANUT BUTTER BANANA COOKIES
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
3 bananas
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream both sugars and butter. Add peanut butter, mix in with electric mixer. Break up bananas and mix in with mixer until there are no lumps. Mix in salt, baking powder, then add flour. Use greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 12 minutes, depending upon the size of the cookies you've made. Smaller cookies will bake more quickly. When baking cookies, it's important to watch carefully during the last few minutes of the baking to avoid over-baking, but it is just as important not to open the oven too often, as this will lower the oven temperature.

I usually am not a huge peanut butter cookie fan, but these were awesome. I used chunky peanut butter and threw in a few chocolate chips for good measure. Ahhhh!

These cookies are amazing. I add chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. My problem is after they sit overnight they break apart very easily. Is there a way to avoid this? They taste great, but the recipe makes so many and if I can't pass them out because they are breaking I eat them all. Any suggestions?

Refrigerate them in an air tight container, they wont break as easily.

I made these last night. I cut the white sugar in half, the brown sugar in half ,added 4 bananas and 1/2 cup more peanut butter (natural). I also added chia seeds, they are delicious!

Oh, heavenly day! I made these this weekend and they are AMAZING. I added a bag of chocolate chips as well. I had to cook them slightly longer because they were "gooey" but as a gooey cookie fan, I'm not complaining. Nom nom nom.

Great recipe! Easy to adjust a little. I added 2 cups of peanut butter cause I wanted to use the entire jar and I also put in about 3/4 c butter because that's all I had. I used only 2 very ripe bananas..again that's all I had but still had a great banana flavor. Recipe makes a lot of cookies so beware!

For this recipe I would add an extra bananas (I added only one), the banana flavour was not as strong as I would have liked. I also added an egg as a binder for the cookies and cut the recipe in half.
