QUICK MIX WHOLE WHEAT PANCAKES
2 cups whole-wheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups milk
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Stir together dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, and oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened (batter may be lumpy). Cook on preheated griddle until bubbles form and edges start to dry. Flip and cook until lightly browned. I like to serve with sliced strawberries and bananas, drizzled with honey.

Winner recipe!! This is a quick, easy and healthy mix with very little oil and no sugar, unlike other recipes. I mixed the flour and milk the night before and put in the fridge (a trick I learned to help digestibility of flour). Finished the rest in the morning. This makes fluffy and tender pancakes. A keeper for sure!

I love this as a base recipe. I add in a mashed banana and chocolate chips. I freeze them 3 to a baggie and then reheat them.

These pancakes were very good even when I substituted egg whites for whole eggs, Almond milk for whole milk and extra virgin olive oil for vegetable oil. They came out light and delicious!

Came out fluffy and delicious. My modifications: added an extra cup of slow cook organic oats; used applesauce instead of oil and unsweetened coconut milk instead of milk. If you want a sweeter pancake you should add something with sugar as nothing I used had sugar in it.

Love love love this recipe!! I cut the recipe in half, used olive oil instead of veggie oil because I was out of it, and added wild blueberries and 1 tsp almond extract to the mix. Before serving I spread a little butter on them and dusted lightly with powdered sugar. So so delicious! Will definitely be keeping this recipe!

Just gave these a try and worked out pretty good. I agree with another poster that they did have a bit of an after taste. However my 4 year old picky eater ate two and declared them delicious. Definitely needed to be a bit sweeter though so next batch I'm going to try adding banana and vanilla like many other commenters suggested.

Definitely use coconut oil instead of any other oil for baking !! Do it vegan applesauce 4 eggs any milk 4 "milk" I use oat, almond, coconut! You can basically do whatever you want you can put bananas in or slice them on top you can do walnuts and bananas or with chocolate chips. Have fun experiment! Note that whole-wheat does come out more dense!

I made this this morning to work into a food plan I started recently. They were wonderful. The food plan calls for only skim milk, so I used two cups skim milk instead of whole milk, and it worked great. They were much lighter than I expected them to be, given they were whole wheat, and I really enjoyed the heartiness that the whole wheat brought to them. Great recipe--definitely a keeper!

My 9 year neighbor found this recipe & asked if we could make them for a snack. We made one taster cake, then added a tsp of vanilla & a tsp of cinnamon. Served with maple syrup & butter, they were wonderful. We bookmarked so we can make them again.

The best whole wheat pancake ever; I substituted buttermilk in place of the milk, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp almond extract and 1/2 tsp vanilla and used canola oil. I also sprinkled red raspberries in them while in the pan. So easy and so good. Thank you for sharing.
