What does the last sentence of the instructions mean. "Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath." Just the pickles or the pickles in the jar? Not quite sure what "Process" means in the context either.

Any help would be nice.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

It means to process the jars, filled with pickles in a boiling water bath canner (any very deep kettle or pot with enough room to cover jars with 2 inches of boiling water plus a bit extra). A boiling water bath is used to can high acid vegetables, fruits and pickles.
