RHUBARB CASSEROLE 
2 c. rhubarb
1 stick butter
3 c. dry bread cubes
1 c. sugar or according to taste
1/4 c. water
Red food coloring

Melt butter in skillet. Add sugar then stir in the bread crumbs. Grease the casserole dish then add the rhubarb mixture. Add food coloring to the 1/4 cup water. Spread the rhubarb mixture in the dish and put 2 tablespoons of colored water in each corner to be absorbed.

Bake about 45 minutes at 325 degrees. Can serve hot or cold. With or without topping.
