POTATO & CABBAGE SOUP | |
4 lg. or 5 med. potatoes, peeled & sliced 1 sm. head cabbage, shredded 1 med. onion, chopped 1 oz. butter 1 pt. water 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. black pepper 8 oz. (1 c.) cream Put butter into a large pot, then add onions and slowly cook them until slightly golden brown. Next, add water, potatoes, cabbage, salt and pepper. Cook until tender, then add cream and reheat while stirring. |
