ASPARAGUS CANAPES | |
2 oz. cream cheese 3 oz. blue cheese 1 egg Beat together. Spread on 20 slices of thin sliced bread with crusts removed and rolled with a rolling pin. (Stouffer's or Pepperidge Farm.) Place one stalk of asparagus on each slice (fresh or canned). Roll up, roll in melted butter, place on cookie sheet, cover with foil and freeze. When frozen, cut each roll in 3 pieces, place in plastic bag and keep in freezer until needed. At party time, bake on cookie sheet at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. |
