PIZZA CRUST
1 pkg. dry yeast (2 1/2 tsp.)
1 c. hot water (about 110 degrees)
Pinch of sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
Flour enough for stiff dough (2 1/2 to 3 c.)

Dissolve yeast in hot water. Add sugar, salt and oil and mix well. Stir in enough flour for stiff dough. Cover and let rise 20 to 30 minutes. Dough becomes more tender as it is allowed to rise the longer amount of time. Spread dough onto large greased pizza pan or seasoned pizza stone. Top dough with your favorite pizza sauce, cheese and other toppings. Bake in a hot oven until done (375 to 400 degrees).

WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA CRUST variation: substitute some of the white flour in the above recipe with whole wheat flour and proceed as directed with the recipe.
