PESTO SAUCE - QUICK & EASY 
1 c. fresh basil leaves, washed & dried
1 garlic bud
1/4 c. pine nuts
1/4 c. butter, melted
4 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt

Put all ingredients together in blender. Blend for 3 minutes until it becomes the consistency of a thick puree. No need to heat. Put directly on hot, freshly cooked pasta. Rotini holds the sauce the best.
