HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE COVERED
CHERRIES
 
4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. white syrup
1 pkg. candi-quick chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 jar cherries

Cream together sugar, butter and syrup. Roll mixture into walnut size balls, make a thumb print in center of each ball. Cut cherries in half, put half cherry in each and roll into balls. Chill 30 minutes. Melt chocolate candi-quick in double boiler, dip ball in mixture and put on waxed paper and refrigerate. NOTE: Melt 1/2 of candi-quick and add as needed.
