BLACK BEANS 
1 lb. dry black beans, wash and let soak overnight
3 bay leaves
1 very lg. onion, sliced
2 lg. cloves garlic
1 lg. pickled pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin powder
Olive oil

Fry onion in olive oil until soft. Add to cooking beans. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 3-4 hours. Add water as needed.
