CHOCOLATE ANGEL FOOD DESSERT 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
4 tbsp. water
4 tbsp. sugar
Pinch salt
4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
Large container Cool Whip
Large angel food cake
1 c. nuts

Melt bits in double boiler. Remove and add water, sugar and salt. Then add egg yolks (well beaten). Fold in egg whites (beaten stiff). When cool, add 1/2 pint Cool Whip.

Butter pan well, add 1/2 of cake pinched into pieces. Cover with 1/2 of chocolate mixture. Add other 1/2 of cake and add rest of mixture. Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
