CHERRY BALLS 
1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Maraschino cherries

Mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add flour, salt, vanilla. Mix with fingers. Take a cherry and fold dough around it, making a small ball. Put on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and dip in icing.

ICING:

1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend well and roll cookies in icing.
