SAUERKRAUT-SAUSAGES-BEER 
2 lbs. sauerkraut, well drained
1 can (12 oz.) light beer
1 lg. chopped onion
1 apple, cored and chopped
2 tsp. caraway seed
6 knockwurst or 1 lb. cocktail franks

In a large saucepan combine sauerkraut, beer, onion, apple and caraway seed. Cover lightly and simmer 20 minutes. Add knockwurst or cocktail franks. Simmer another 15 minutes.
