SAUSAGE - APPLE - SAUERKRAUT
SUPPER
 
1 lb. pork sausage
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 apple, cored & sliced
1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut
1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
4 servings instant seasoned mashed potatoes
1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Paprika

Brown sausage in skillet. Drain; put into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Saute onions in 2 tablespoons of drippings. Place onions and apples on sausage. Cover with sauerkraut and caraway seeds. Spread potatoes on top; sprinkle with shredded cheese and paprika. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until top is golden. Makes 4 servings.
