MICROWAVE KARAMEL CORN 
4 qt. popped corn
1 lg. paper grocery bag
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Place popped corn in paper bag. Mix butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt in bowl. Microwave mixture on high for 4 minutes. Stir twice while cooking in the oven. Add vanilla and baking soda. Stir mixture until foamy. Pour over popcorn in the bag. Shake bag well. Place bag in the microwave. Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes, shake, high for 1 minute, shake, high for 30 seconds, shake. Spread on a cookie sheet to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
