BAKED STUFFED BROWNIES | |
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix or any other cake mix 3/4 c. softened butter 1/3 c. evaporated milk Put 2/3 cup of the above mixture in a 13 x 9 inch pan and spread evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour on 1 cup crushed walnuts, 1 package (6 ounce) chocolate chips and Caramel Mixture (see below). Spread remaining batter over top and bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees (it's easier if you spoon batter on top and heat it for 5 minutes before spreading it out). CARAMEL MIXTURE: 1 package (12 to 16 ounces) caramels melted with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Cut into squares when cooled. These are best when served from the refrigerator. |
