JENNIFER BLOME'S SAVORY CHOPPED
SPINACH
 
2 pkgs. (10 oz. each) frozen chopped spinach
2 pkgs. (3 oz. each) cream cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. chopped fresh scallions
2 tbsp. prepared horseradish
Salt to taste

In a 3 quart saucepan, cook spinach according to package directions; drain spinach well and return to saucepan. Add cream cheese and stir until blended. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well combined. Put mixture in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Set casserole in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake until mixture is hot throughout 20 to 30 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
