1 c. milk
1 egg
1 c. yellow corn meal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. minced onion

Beat together well the egg and milk. Mix all the dry ingredients together and then add to the milk and egg mixture. Last stir in the onion. Fry in oil until golden brown.
