1 c. self rising flour
3/4 c. meal (white)
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder

Mix ingredients with enough water to a thick consistency and drop in deep grease (hot grease but not too hot). You can test the temperature by dropping one or two spoons of mix in the grease.
