AUNT LEDA'S POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. lemon or vanilla extract
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Cream butter and sugar together until smooth. Add one egg at a time, beating one minute after each egg. Reduce speed of mixer and add flour. Next add extract. Fold whipping cream into batter last and stir in well. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees in a pre-heated oven.
