TINY TIM FRUIT COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 c. currants
1 c. seedless raisins, diced
1/4 c. candied cherries, diced
1/4 c. candied pineapple
1/4 c. candied citron, diced
1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped

Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt together. Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, beating until light. Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk; beat well after each addition. Add currants, raisins, candied fruit, and nuts. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
