JOAN'S BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lbs. steak cut in small strips
butter (enough to brown steak)
1 env. dry onion soup
1 c. sour cream
2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour

Brown steak in butter in large skillet. Add dry onion soup and water. Cook steak slowly until tender adding more liquid if needed. Mix flour with sour cream and add to steak mixture, stir well. Heat slowly until thick enough. Serve over rice.
