MRS. BOND'S QUICK BEEF
STROGANOFF
 
1 env. French sour cream sauce mix
1/2 c. milk
1 lb. boneless sirloin steak
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. butter
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms
3/4 c. water
1 env. brown gravy mix
1/4 c. red wine

Stir milk gradually into sour cream sauce mix. Let stand. Cut beef into strips. Cook beef and onions in butter until meat is lightly browned. Add mushrooms and liquid, water, dry gravy mix, paprika and wine. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sour cream, heat but do not boil. Garnish with parsley flakes. Serve with rice or noodles.
