GRANOLA 
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 c. sesame seeds
1/2 c. safflower oil
1/2 c. honey
1 1/2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1 c. slivered almonds, optional
1 c. dried apricots

Mix oatmeal, wheat germ, coconut and seeds. Separately mix oil, honey, brown sugar and vanilla. Pour over drys and mix thoroughly. Spread evenly in pan. Toast, stirring every 15 minutes at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Cool, then toss with optional ingredients. Makes 8 cups.
