JUDY'S CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE | |
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (not pudding mix) 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 c. sugar 1/3 c. milk 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. almond extract 5 tbsp. butter 1 c. chocolate chips (semi-sweet) Mix well the cake mix, pie filling, eggs, and almond extract. Bake at 350 degrees in 9 x 13 inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes. Frosting: Bring to boil sugar, butter, and milk. Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and stir until chips are melted and frosting is smooth. Pour over hot cherry cake. |
