2 cans apple slices
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
Nutmeg and cinnamon to taste
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Layer; do not stir. In a 10x15x1 inch ungreased pan, arrange apple slices. Sprinkle with both types of sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top. Cut butter into slices over top. Cover with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Serve warm or cold, plain, with ice cream or whipped cream.
