COCKTAIL MEAT BALLS 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 tbsp. bread crumbs (more if needed)
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lg. onion, chopped finely
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. paprika

Mix all of the above ingredients well and shape into small balls (walnut size). Saute meat balls in 1/2 cup butter and 2 crushed garlic cloves. Simmer meat balls in sauce for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. red wine
2-4 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 can consomme
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 onion, chopped

Combine sauce ingredients.
