1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. salad oil Pinch of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 5 c. unsifted flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cream of tartar Cream butter with sugar. Add next 4 ingredients. After measuring sift dry ingredients together; mix well. Roll into balls. Roll each ball in sugar and "smoosh" down with the bottom of a glass. Bake 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned at 350 degrees. FROSTING: 1 stick butter 1 lb. powdered sugar 2 tsp. vanilla Mix well together and add milk to get right consistency. Frost and decorate with sprinkles. |
