GRAND PRIZE SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. salad oil
2 eggs
5 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Cream sugars, butter, and oil. Add eggs, beating well. Add dry ingredients and extracts. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with glass bottom that has been dipped in sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes.

Add cinnamon to sugar for dipping variety.

Makes approximately 7 dozen.
