SQUASH ROLLS 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted shortening
1 egg, beaten separately
1 c. sweet milk
1 yeast, dissolved in a little warm water
1 c. cooked squash
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour "more or less"

Mix like any rolls or bread. Let rise until double. Shape into rolls, let rise again. Bake in hot oven 350 degrees 15 to 20 minutes.
