CHERRY COBBLER | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. self-rising flour 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 3/4 tsp. almond extract 4 c. pitted fresh sweet cherries Melt butter in a 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Set aside. Combine flour and sugar. Add milk and almond extract. Stir until blended. Spoon batter over butter, do not stir. Spoon cherries over batter; do not stir. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until brown. Yield: about 8 servings. |
