BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 heads broccoli
1 head cauliflower
2/3 c. rice vinegar
1 c. white sugar
1 bunch green onions
Pepper
1/2 - 1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 lb. bacon
1/4 c. roasted sunflower seeds (optional)

Wash onions and chop. Wash broccoli and cauliflower and separate into flowerettes. Combine vinegar and sugar and lots of pepper. Stir into the vegetables. Marinate overnight, stirring occasionally. Fry bacon and drain. Crumble into small bits. Drain the vegetables. Mix the mayonnaise, bacon, and sun flower seeds into the vegetables. Serves 4-6.
