ORIGINAL GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans (1 lb.) cut green beans, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 can Durkee French fried onions
3/4 c. milk

Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can of onions; pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.
