ORIGINAL GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans (1 lb. each) cut green beans, drained OR
2 pkg. (9 oz. ea.) frozen green beans, cooked and drained
3/4 c. milk
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1 can (2.8 oz.) Durkee French fried onions

Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can French fried onions; pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake 5 minutes longer.

Makes 6 servings.
