CINNAMON APPLE RINGS 
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
4 apples

In skillet, combine sugar, water, and cinnamon candies. Stir over medium heat until sugar and candies dissolve. Core apples, cut into 1/2 inch rings and add to syrup. Simmer gently until transparent but not soft, turning occasionally. Cool in syrup.
