3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Work above ingredients together like pie dough until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup of crumbly mixture for sprinkling on top. Add:

1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk with 1/2 tsp. baking soda1 egg

Mix well and divide into 3 small pie pans which are greased and floured. Sprinkle crumbs over top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Can add coconut, nuts, cereal, etc. to crumbs for top. Freezes well and stays moist.
