CARAMEL BROWNIES | |
1 box Duncan Hines German Chocolate cake mix 1 stick butter, melted 1/2 c. crushed walnuts 1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels 5 oz. evaporated milk 6 oz. chocolate chips Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk until smooth; stir constantly. In medium bowl mix cake mix, butter and remainder of evaporated milk. Divide mixture in half. Press one half into the bottom of an ungreased cake pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust. Drizzle melted caramel on top. Sprinkle 1/4 cup walnuts. Smooth on remaining walnuts. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 18-20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. |
