BROWNIES WITH CARAMELS | |
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 1 stick butter, melted 1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips 2/3 c. unsweetened evaporated milk 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 1 pkg. Kraft caramels Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, butter and nuts. Press half of this mixture into greased 9x12 inch baking pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. In microwave melt the caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Top baked half of brownies with chocolate chips; then caramel. Top with the rest of the mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let stand overnight, then cut in squares. |
