BROWNIES WITH CARAMELS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips
2/3 c. unsweetened evaporated milk
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 pkg. Kraft caramels

Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, butter and nuts. Press half of this mixture into greased 9x12 inch baking pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

In microwave melt the caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Top baked half of brownies with chocolate chips; then caramel. Top with the rest of the mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let stand overnight, then cut in squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
