CREME FILLING FOR CREAM PUFFS 
4 tbsp. flour
2/3 c. milk
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend flour and milk in a saucepan, then cook until thick and cool. Combine the butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla; cream well. Add the cooked mixture. Fill the puffs with the filling and sprinkle tops with confectioners' sugar. Fill into puffs. Refrigerate until time to serve.
