2 c. flour 2 c. granulated sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/4 c. cooking oil 4 eggs 3 sm. baby food jars of carrots Mix together the flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cinnamon. Add oil, eggs, and carrots; mix well. Put into greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. FROSTING: 8 oz. cream cheese 1 stick butter 2 tsp. vanilla 1 lb. powdered sugar Mix together and frost cooled bars. FROSTING VARIATION: 4 tbsp. butter 1 sm. pkg. cream cheese 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla Beat together all the ingredients. Frost cooled cake. |
