MEXICAN TAMALE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. whole kernel corn, drained
1 can tomato soup
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. chili powder

Mix together the above ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. meal
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. oil

Pour on top of burger mixture and bake 20 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
