APPLESAUCE - RAISIN BARS | |
1/4 c. reduced-calorie butter Brown sugar substitute to equal 2/3 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. apple pie or pumpkin pie spice 1/2 c. raisins 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce Vegetable cooking spray Cream butter in a medium bowl. Add brown sugar substitute and egg, beat well. Sift together flour, baking powder and spice; add to creamed mixture, beating well. Stir in raisins and applesauce. Spread mixture in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let cool. Cut into 24 bars. Each Serving Amount: 2 bars. Exchanges: 1 starch. Cholesterol: 11 milligrams. Calories: 81. Carbohydrates: 14 grams. Protein: 2 grams. Fat: 2 grams. Fiber: trace. Sodium: 57 milligrams. |
