SMOKEY COUNTRY STYLE RIBS | |
3 lb. country-style pork ribs garlic powder black pepper 1 c. catsup 1/2 c. brown sugar (or use substitute to equal 1/2 c.) 1/2 c. chili sauce 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 2 tbsp. liquid smoke 1 tbsp. lemon juice Heat oven to 325°F. Sprinkle ribs with garlic powder and pepper. Mix catsup, brown sugar (or substitute), chili sauce, vinegar, liquid smoke and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place ribs, meaty side up, on rack in roasting pan. Brush with sauce. Bake uncovered 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours or until tender, turning and brushing with sauce every 30 minutes. Cut into serving pieces. Heat remaining sauce to boiling. Serve with ribs. |
