BAKED COUNTRY STYLE RIBS AND SAUERKRAUT | |
3 lbs. or 3 to 4 country style ribs (pork) 1 med. can sauerkraut 1 tart apple, peeled and chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. brown sugar Salt and pepper In fry pan brown ribs; drain excess fat. Salt and pepper to taste. In baking dish combine sauerkraut, apple, onion, water and brown sugar. Arrange ribs on top. Bake uncovered 1 hour or so until ribs are tender in 325 degree oven. Check now and then. |
